Short and sweet.
"The question, O me! So sad, recurring--what good amid these, O me, O life;
Answer.
That you are here--that life exists, and identity;
That the powerful play goes on,
and you will contribute a verse."
--Walt Whitman

not "you might contribute a verse." You will.
true. (as opposed to false)

By way of introduction, this blog is in no way an attempt at excusing the lack of blogging on my part. This is simply the passing along of a couple of observations in life lately.
Blogging is hard. I have this love of blank paper and language and I feel as though I am doing both a disservice if my sentence structure, vocabulary, etc. isn't perfect. Nothing is ever perfect. That being the case, my blogs are few and far between. Each of my previous blogs have taken at least an hour and we're already there on this one. I type up about eighteen sentences, decide I hate it and delete the entire thing, all the while my shoulders grow increasingly tense. I'm not kidding. I just erased another paragraph.
Huge change of subject...
Maybe God made sand so it would squish between your toes. Maybe that star was created for the sole purpose of shooting. Maybe this overcast day is His way of saying "There's a shelter that is larger than this room." And I know the eagle has its perfect place in the ecosystem and all that but I like to think that God mainly created it to let it soar.
