Even without Brent's most recent harassment, I was planning on blogging tonight. Yes, much has been happening pour moi (for me). I went to Pine Cove (Christian camp in East Texas) with the high-schoolers a couple of weeks ago. I love it there. I love the ministry. I love the atmosphere. I love it all. While watching the high-schoolers work, I chatted with the staff some, and danced a whole lot. (By the way, I HIGHLY recommend chiropractors...or at least mine. I can dance more than ever before.) I realized again how much I would love to work there, and came home on Sunday and looked at the application on-line. You see, I've always wanted to work there but the timing has always been off. Before England: needed money to travel. After England: needed to spend time with family and friends (and had to go through culture shock). And now: thought I would need money before going off to school but realized too late that I don't really. So... to make a short story boring...after a couple of e-mails with the staff about a totally different trip, I got a phone call (Thursday) saying would I be interested in a job this summer. OH MY GOSH! would I ever!!! so I left the next morning, drove a couple hours, had an interview, drove a couple hours home, faxed in my references and that night (Friday) around 8-ish I got a call offering me a job as a counselor with middle-school girls for six weeks this summer. So I had to quit the job I had lined up for the summer, and quit the job I'm currently doing because I leave Friday for orientation! So instead of spending six hours a day in freezing cold water teaching 4 year olds how to blow bubbles, I now get to go to Mexico, go see my school and register for classes, possibly go to California, and then to Pine Cove to do something I've always wanted to do! Holy Freaking Cow I'm so excited. ok. I'm done. goodnight.

Friday night. I'm going nowhere. All the lights are changing green to red. Turning over TV stations. Situations running though my head. Looking back through time you know it's clear that I've been blind. I've been a fool, to open up my heart to all that jealousy, that bitterness, that ridicule. -David Gray
Yeah...it's that kind of Friday...

Got this idea from my brother. Finish this story with no more than two sentences per person. Have fun kids!
Once upon a time, in a land known as Suburbia, there lived a girl named Zoe. Despite Zoe's best efforts she was unable to...
